A few comments critics have to say when Sebastian Anzaldo takes the
stage.
Sebastian Anzaldo is one of the top “Sinatra” tribute artists in
the world. He has honed his act to perfection capturing the essence of the
great musical icon, with the voice, looks and mannerisms of  ‘Ol Blue Eye
himself.
"Like many fans, Sinatra was and still is one of my all time favorite
singers/artists of all time", Anzaldo says.
Originally hailing from Omaha, Sebastian grew up in a musical family (his
father a sax player and later a talent agent, his mother a singer). He started
playing drums and singing at the age 11. Rather than hanging out with
friends at the football games, Sebastian and his cousins (who were all
musicians)  began their professional careers working in local bars and frat
parties. After ten years of  playing in and around his hometown, including a
cross-country road stint for the Air Force, Sebastian’s passion for jazz led
him to New York, compliments of The National Endowment For The Arts.
His love for all genres of music and the music business far exceeded “books”
in college.  He could not contain himself to the classroom, so back into the
working world he went.
The next year, he headed to the opposite coast to make his fame and
fortune. L. A. became his home for 14 years, where he continued to work
playing venues, touring and recording. Sebastian formed the show band
“Wild Life” in 1993, and soon relocated to The Entertainment Capitol Of
The World, Las Vegas!
It was around this time that he discovered his ‘knack for doing Frank’, and
began incorporating it into the show to great enthusiasm. “Wild Life”
became one of the most popular acts on the Vegas circuit, a stint that lasted
eight successful years.
It soon became apparent that Sebastian was more of the draw doing the
‘Sinatra thing’. With a dedication to perfecting the art of Frank, everything
was in place and Sebastian began doing one corporate event after another.
As word got out that there was a new ‘Chairman’ in town, he got a call to
star in ‘The Tribute To The Rat Pack’ currently running at The Greek Isle.
This in turn led to his current show - headlining with Sharon Owens as
Barbra Streisand in the hit show on the strip “Barbra & Frank, The Concert
That Never Was...” at the Riviera.  And this summer, 2007, on ABC,
Sebastian was seen on national TV in the hit show
“The Next Best Thing”.
“Sebastian Sings Sinatra” is the result of a great love and understanding of
the ‘Great American Songbook as Francis Albert sang it and, let’s face it,“I’m
a fan, too!”
